Are you ready for a journey through time?
Welcome to the 1800s where pioneers ventured to America for the gold rush and the American dream. You are sent back in time on an adventure with a diary that landed in your hands with quests to solve.
You can choose between the PIONEER (medium) or the GOLD RUSH (easy) quest escape trails. You and your group must work together to ‘solve/escape’ 6 cabins in the woods in one hour.
Math, history, reading comprehension, and directional tools/skills are integrated into the cabin puzzles.

Xtreme Park Adventures Outdoor Quest Adventures Frequently Asked Questions
How does the quest work?
The quest is a type of escape room but outdoors. In fact, it’s an escape trail. You will have to solve different puzzles throughout cabins in the woods to access the final clue and finish the game.
Can I get a refund after I buy my ticket?

How long does it take?
After the instructional briefing, you have 1 hour to escape/accomplish the Quest.
Does the time run out?
Yes, you have 1 hour once you start to finish the Quest. Allow for up to 2 hours of time for this activity to account for checking in, getting ready, walking/riding back to the trails, the instructional briefing, and game play.
How many people can participate?
Do I have to play with other people?
Not necessarily. We can make these games a challenge just for you or make you compete with other groups playing.
Can I play against someone else?
In order to play the challenge version you need to have at least 6 people with you, then we can divide you into two groups and you can play against each other.
How extensive is the walking?
I have health issues can I still do it?
We can’t tell you what you can or can’t do. If you feel you are up to the challenge and you can handle the weather and the exercise by all means. If you are very concerned, please ask your medical professional.
What about bugs and animals?
You will be walking around the North Carolina woods. This means you could encounter mosquitoes, spiders, or even a snake. We highly recommend sunscreen and bug spray, especially in the summer.
Will someone be with us?
Yes, you will have a guide with you available at all times. Keep in mind if you are playing a challenge game against other people the guide might be a few hundred feet away from you so you will have to go find him/her.
